Making friends

Disneyland

Since I didn't get a chance to take Tamara to Disneyland for her birthday, I decided to take her on Friday afternoon after she got out of school. Luckily we have season passes so we can go anytime and spend a few hours. She had a great time and we got to have some one on one. She was a little scared of the Haunted Mansion that I MADE her ride but other than that she had a blast.

The carousel is probably Tamara's favorite ride.

Getting ready to start drawing. We took a sketching class. Probably not a good idea for a 4 year old perfectionist. She got really upset because her sketch didnt look perfect like the teachers. We wont be taking that class again in the near future.

Julianna continues to enjoy going to her weekly baby classes. Every week we see how she is growing right before our eyes.

Lets pick a president as only 4 years old can

So, Tamara says many many things that just crack me up, but today must have been the funniest things I have read. One of the pre-k activities today was to say something about the President. We have never talked to Tamara about the President so she has no idea who he is or what he does. So when they asked her about the President, her response was"I gave a present to nina". I thought that was so funny.

Happy Birthday Dad and Happy Be-lated bday Jeena!

It was a busy Sunday for us as we celebrated 2 birthdays. We started off with a b-day breakfast with my dad who turned 72 years old today. Wow! He still looks so young. The breakfast was delicious and we all had a great time. We then moved on to b-day celebration #2 with a lunch with Tamara's nina Jeena. Since Tamara was still full from breakfast she enjoyed 3 chocolate covered strawberries, a chocolate cake and the whipped cream from a 3-leches cake. Yes, she was hyper after that, but it was fun. Happy bday Dad and Jeena.

Relaxing day

So today started off with a 17 mile run at the Rose Bowl. Niveet and I ran together and we both felt so great. We ran into the mountains and enjoyed some beautiful scenery. It was a great start to the day. We then came back to my house and hung out and watched the USC game vs Washington... GO TROJANS!!! Final score 56 - 0. We also watched the Texas vs Texas Tech game....poor Longhorns! Sorry San Antonio!!! We told you USC was better!!!!!!!
