Julianna's first Dodger Game

Julianna loved her first Dodger game. It was blazing hot but it was fun. She enjoyed frozen lemonades and hotdogs. Unfortunately, she wouldnt share her frozen lemonade with me. Brat!

We spent the afternoon with the Alvas. We enjoyed great company and great food. Julianna and her nina enjoyed seeing each other.

Hiking w Abue

Abue has been joining us on our hikes. She is in great hiking shape and loves the outdoors.

Olivia turns One

Little Olivia turned one today. Its amazing how fast time goes by, a little too fast if you ask me. But yes, she is one now and growing quickly.

Robert joined us today for a little hiking. He jogged while the girls were in the stroller. They love going fast.

Circus time

We took the girls to the circus today and they were in awe, especially Julianna. She was so facinated by all the animals and dancers. It was so cute.

My hikers

We're spending lots of time hiking these days. Its such a great workout and it gets the girls out and enjoying nature.

Hiking

We are making it a weekly routine to go hiking once a week. The girls really enjoy it, especially when we get to the river. Maybe next time I will bring a change of clothes so they can get in the water. Julianna was a little upset that she couldn't get in. Great workout though!

Easter Sunday

Our Easter Sunday was wonderful. We started the day with brunch at a nice (almost fancy) restaurant. The food was great and the girls did great until the last 5 minutes. It caused a little anxiety since their were no kids in the restaurant. It wasn't so bad though, we made it out just in time before Julianna needed that nap. We then came home and relaxed while Julianna napped and Tamara played on the computer. In the meantime, the easter bunny was in our backyard hiding the eggs that were no longer filled with candy but dollar bills and quarters. Lucky kids! The kids searched for Easter eggs, the Nagpals came over and we had a delicious lunch. I threw in a little gardening and it was time to end the day and relax some more. Couldn't get much better than that.

Easter Saturday

Our day started off visitng Aunt Mary and Uncle Al for taxes time. I like this time of year because it is a day that we get so see our aunt and uncle. Unfortunately, we dont get to see them that often so this is a great excuse. We then went to my sister Annette's house for her annual Easter BBQ. She outdid herself this year with lots of fun games and prizes for the kids. Not to mention the great food. We had a very nice time. One thing about my girls though, THEY LOVE CANDY!!!! OMG!!! We had to finally hide it from them, especially Julianna. She must have had 20 pieces of candy today, it was crazy!

Descanso gardens

Julianna's PCC class went on a field trip to Descanso Gardens. The flowers were blooming so beautifully. It was so nice to be out in the fresh outdoors.
