Yellow Belt

Today, Tamara had her belt testing and tested into a full yellow belt in Karate. Unfortunately, all I have is a video that I havent put onto my computer, so there are no pictures. She had to break a board with her elbow. Wow! My little girl is growing up.

By the way, Tamara received a really nice engraved wooden Karate belt holder in the mail. There was no name attached. Does anyone know who sent it?

Pasadena Marathon

It was an amazing day today. My brother and I ran the Pasadena marathon in some trecherous rain. We started the race at 6:30am and at 6:25, the downpour began. It lasted about 10 minutes, long enough to drench us. The race began and we felt good until about mile 7 when the second downpour hit us. We were drenched again. With rain filled shoes, we trecked on and I finished a 1/2 marathon in 2 1/2 hours. My brother continued the race and at mile 13, he got his third downpour of rain. He was SOAKED. We brought him some dry clothes at mile 18 so he was good after that. He finished the race in 5 hours and 2o minutes. Great job!

Im officially one!

Julianna is now a big girl. What can she do?

1. She is now drinking whole cow's milk.
2. She walks when holding onto something. Not walking on her own yet! Boo!
3. Said PA PA. Babbles alot.
4. Tells us when she is hungry by saying Aaahh!
5. Gives us things, then takes them back and then gives them to someone else.
6. Not sleeping through the night (wakes up at 1 am everyday). Boo!
7. Is a tyrant and is always making a mess. She is very curious.
8. Is always happy, unless she has gas.
9. Has three teeth, two on the bottom and one on the top right.
10. Plays patty cake and claps her hands.
11. Loves to dance, moves her arms, shoulders and booty....very cute.

Happy Birthday Julianna!

We took Julianna to the beach today and then took her out to dinner. Our little girl is now ONE!

I spent Thursday at Lego Land with my parents, my sister and Damian and the two kiddos. We had a really nice time and really enjoyed all the attractions.

We had such a great day today celebrating Julianna's 1st birthday with friends and family. The day was beautiful and everything turned out great. I can't believe that it has now been a year since my little munchkin was born. Its been one great year so far, we are so excited for many more to come.
