One thing about having kids is lots of photo opportunities. Time moves so quickly when you have kids. My goal is to capture as many moments as possible.

Last day to work in Juliannas preschool

This is the face I get when i stay at school with Julianna. Unfortunately, the school year has come to an end and this will be my last day working in her class. We have enjoyed belonging to a Co-op this year but its time to move on.

Karina 7 months

My sweet angel is now 7 months. She is such a sweet baby and we all love her so much. She is growing so quickly. I think her favorite thing to do right now is play with her sisters. Its an amazing thing to watch. She lights up when they walk into the room and lets them do whatever they want to her. The push her around in the play stroller, they play with her in their room, they play house with her and she just loves it. She is starting to squirm her way around the floor. She isn't crawling quite yet but she is able to move herself into different locations. She is very curious and grabs anything and everything she can. I can see it now, she is going to be my next mischievous child.

Disneyland

Our Disneyland passes expire in August so we took advantage of a free Sunday to go to Disneyland. We went with the Petersons and had such a nice day.




Never to old for the merry go round :)

This has become the entertainment for Karina lately. She has become the real live doll for her sisters. They put her in their stroller and push her around the house. She absolutely loves it. She cracks up and just laughs and laughs. Its actually pretty funny. I love my built in babysitters.

Breakfast with Grandpa

We are going to try to have a monthly breakfast with my dad "Grandpa". We dont see my dad as much anymore since he has gotten older. He has become a homebody and we have to go to him. So we have decided to try and have breakfast or lunch with him once a month. We started today and had a nice time. He loves hanging out with the babies.

We spent the day at the Nagpals celebrating the great news of the Nagpal baby to come. We swam for a few hours, ate some great food and enjoyed each other's company. We are lucky to have such great friends.

Movie Afternoon

Tamara and Julianna came to my work today for our annual picnic kickoff. We watched Mom's Meets Mars and the kids thought it was scarry. It was quite scarry if you ask me.

Sitting up

Karina is growing up so fast. She is now sitting up unassisted for a few seconds at a time. Its amazing because just last week she was unable to do that, now she can! Crazy kid! We are having such a great time with her. We love how she smiles so much. She is a very happy baby.....especially when she sees her mommy :)

Cinco de Mayo

Today we took the train to Olvera Street for Cinco de Mayo. It was so crowded there. I was so glad we took the train because we didnt have to worry about parking. We had a nice time. We had dinner at one of the small restaurants and the girls loved "window shopping". I did so good and didn't buy them any toys. It was hard but I did it!

Karina's Baptism

My little girl got baptized today at St. Phillip the Apostle Church. Her godparents were my brother Armando Hernandez and his wife, my sister-n-law Alejandra Gamez-Hernandez. Today was a great day. I felt so happy that my third child was given the gift of amazing godparents that love her so much. Karina did great at the baptism, she was so relaxed and happy being held by either Mando or Alex. She felt very comfortable with them and that confirmed that they were a perfect match.
