Another yearly tradition that we have is celebrating New Years Eve with our compadres and family. It is always associated with amazing food and great company. This year was no exception. I am so happy to be able to create thesee memories for my kids.

Horse riding

Tamara loves going to Hanford because she gets to visit her family AND gets to ride horses. This was the first time riding them on her own. She is such a big girl now. AND for the first time, the ninos came to visit. Good times!

Christmas in Hanford

We spent our 2010 Christmas in Hanford this year. It was the first time for many of the Hanford family to meet Karina. We had a very nice time relaxing in cow town and the kids had a blast playing with their cousins.

Tamara's lost tooth

Tamara finally lost her first tooth. It was so cute! She was so excited to loose it, she was gleaming. She had been waiting since she was 5 to loose her tooth and it finally happened. It was so nice to see her happy reaction.

2 month doctor appointment

My little baby is now 2 months. She is 9 pounds 12 ounces.

COH holiday party

I just love this picture. This was my first evening outing with all 3 of my girls. It wasnt so bad. They did really well (except for the fighting in the car on the way there).

Santa at Hastings Ranch Preschool

One thing I definitely love about having kids is seeing them develop and grow up. It just amazes me how they go from these little babies to little people. Its a very rewarding experience. I am really enjoying watching Julianna grow up and turn into this little girl with such a cute personality.

Dinner with the Alvas (Compadres)

Today we went to the Alva's annual tree trimming. Its always a lot of fun especially now that the kids are older and really enjoy playing with each other. Its such a great tradition and creates such great memories for the girls.

Julianna and the terrible twos.

Our little Julianna is growing up very fast now. She is talking very well and with that comes the back talk, the defiance and the mind of her own. Over the last few months, she has slowly become more defiant and speaks her mind. Her favorite words are "No!" , "i dont want to or no quiero!", "i dont want to go to sleep or no quiero dormir!". If she doesnt want to do something, she will run from you and hide under a table or a chair. She has woken up in the middle of the night for several months now. We are more tired from her than from the baby. She continues to wake up at the crack of dawn with the latest wake up time being around 7. She really LOVES candy and will throw a fit if she doesnt get a piece. The terrible twos are in full swing!

Karina at 6 weeks

Our little Karina is now 6 weeks old. Her sleeping is slowly becoming more scheduled and is sleeping longer intervals. She has started sleeping 3-4 hours at night which helps so much. She Isn't sleeping as well during the day yet but we are working on it. She is very sweet and is so much fun to have around. Her sisters are in love with her, especially Julianna who cant get enough of her. Its very cute.

Tamara at 6 years old

Our little Tamara is doing very well in school. She is great at math and is also reading very well. She is still having her little defiant issues but they are not as often as before. She still needs to work on listening and doing what she is told the first time. She likes to scream when she gets mad. Her favorite things right now are the movie how to train your dragon, dora the explorer, curious george, diego and max and ruby. She loves pillow pets. She thinks her friend Raquel is a werewolf and believes that her friend can help her become one too. She thinks she has magic and can help create parking spaces and change the lights from red to green. I love my spirited child!

Our Family

We love our kids. They may be a handfull but they are each unique in their own ways. They keep us on our toes and are creating great memories for us.

Thanksgiving day

We had a very nice Thanksgiving day. There are so many things to be thankful for this year. I am thankful for our health, our family, our wonderful friends. I am thankful that we have enough to put food on our table, a roof over our heads and a little extra for some extras. I am thankful that we have 3 wonderful little girls who drive us nuts but make us so happy all at the same time. I am thankful to live in the United States where we are free to live as we choose. We are very fortunate to be in the position that we are today and couldnt ask for very much more in life.
