Happy Birthday Robert

My best friend turned 35 today and we celebrated by spending some quality family time with just us, our little family. We went to eat at some not so fancy restaurant (his choice) and came home to some delicious bannana cream pie. Happy birthday honey. Thank you for being a great husband. Looking forward to another great year together.

6 month check up

Yes you read it right. Julianna is now 6 months old. How time flies. My little girl is growing up so fast. She did so good at her doctor visit today. She weighed in at a whopping 13 pounds 7 ounces leaving her in the 5% in weight. Yes, she is teenie weenie. As for height though, she is tall at 26 3/4 inches - 70% in height. I am going to have a tall skinny girl unlike her mom who is short and skinny.

6 month accomplishments:
1) Sits on her own
2) Laughs all the time (cracks up when you look at her)
3) Eating rice cereal, carrots, sweet potatoes & banannas
4) Sleeps from 8 to 4:30 (eats) then sleeps till 7:30
5) Attempting to crawl (gets up on hands and knees and also hands and feet)
6) Can sit up from laying down (likes to do sit ups)
7) Gets really excited when she sees her mommy
8) Grabs things and pounds them against objects
9) Pulls the bumper down in her crib to look out
10) Loves playing with her big sister and her dog

The big day

The day finally arrives!!! Rosalba and Damian get married! The pictures tell it all.

The pre-wedding festivities

Today, we went to the church for rehearsal and then returned to the rental house for a rehearsal BBQ. The house was jammed pack with the wedding party and close family members. We all had so much fun. Cant wait for the wedding.

The start of the festivities

We started off the festivities on Friday with a "girl day". We went to a fabulous lunch at the Beach House. It was the perfect scene as we enjoyed our lunches with the waves crashing in the background. Soon after, we moved on to get our mani's and pedi's. Some of the girls arrived early to decorate the salon with "man balloons" and a bottle of champagne. What fun! Afterwards, we quickly went home to get ready for our "girls night out" at Poseidon. It was a great time.
