Today was Tamara's last day of school. We are so proud of her! My little girl started off the school year as the youngest one in her class. This school starts pre-school when kids are 3 years old by October 1st. I didn't want to wait another year to start her at the school so luckily they accepted her at 2 years 11 months. The first few months were rocky with the crying at EVERY drop off. Then we began to get the "pink slips" saying "Tamara does not listen in class". But all of a sudden, Tamara took a turn for the best and began to do wonderfully. Her teachers would give us compliments on her behavior and her healthy eating habits. She was given the nickname of "the little mouse" because she loved her CHEESE and broccoli. Academically she did great. She learned to spell her name, learned her letters, the sounds, the numbers, colors, shapes, opposites, rhymes and by the end of the year was sounding out words and trying to spell them. She also made many new friends and learned how to share. We are very proud of her. We look forward to another great year at Sunrise Preschool.
