My Birthday Dinner

We hosted a dinner at our house to celebrate my 37th birthday. I really had a nice time with some great friends and family. I feel so fortunate to have such great people in my life. Life is good!

Birthday Skiing

My birthday started of great with a nice drive to our local mountains for some skiing. When we got there, it was so incredibly cold. I don't think I have ever been that cold in my life. But once we got out to the lifts, the wind died down and the weather became amazing. We ended up having great ski weather, thank goodness. The best thing about it was that it all came back to me. I can still ski. Definitely going back soon!

Happy bday to me!

Today was a great day! After a long day of skiing, we went to dinner with the Nagpal's to celebrate my bday. The food and the company was great. It was a great way to start of a new year!

Homework

Julianna now joins Tamara when she is doing her homework. It is amazing how the second child is so much more advanced than the first at that age.

Twins

Funny how these two LOVE to dress alike and play together. I hope this lasts. It is so cute.

Finally getting a piano

One great thing about growing up is that you finally can get what you want. I wanted a piano for most of my life and after all these years, I finally got one. It is so beautiful and the sound is amazing. Can't wait to get back into it. I'm going to catch up to Tamara though, she is already getting so good.

Tamara gets her hair cut

We took a drive to Palm Springs today to visit my good friend Lowell and also for Tamara and I to get our hair cut. Tamara was looking forward to Lowell washing her hair and cutting it short. Both Robert and I were a little nervous about her wanting her hair short but Lowell did such a great job. Her hair ended up looking sooo cute! Thanks Lowell. Tamara has been getting lots of compliments. She was a little celebrity today at school.
