Puerto Nuevo

My sister and Damian are finally getting married. We left for San diego to start the festivities. We started our trip with a delicious lunch in Puerto Nuevo, Mexico. We enjoyed incredible lobster and afterwards spent the afternoon listening to mariachis and enjoying the beachfront restaurant with our Texas cousins. It was a great start to an amazing weekend.

Since we were all dressed up for the game, Julianna got to have her 1st USC pictures taken by me today. She was such a great little poser. She is going to make a great USC fan!

GO USC!

So we made every effort we could to get tickets to todays USC vs. Ohio game. We went to the USC campus and we tailgated while trying to scalp tickets. But unfortunately, this game was more than sold out. Thats ok, we got to experience the positive vibes and visit with our Alma Mater. Damn we love our old school. There is just nothing like USC! So we rushed back to our car and sped home to watch the game on our DVR. Hey, Big Screen TV, soft comfy sofa, all we can drink beers, and no traffic. Cant beat that!

First day of School

So Tamara started her first day of pre-school today at Sunrise. She is now in the 4 year old class and will be learning a lot more this year. She was very excited to start school this time which is a big change for her. Last year was a bit tough for her to let go of mom and dad. Today seemed a bit easier. We dropped her off, took some pictures, then gave her a kiss goodbye and walked out. She didn't even look back. Lets hope this is the start of a good year.

Pasadena College Parenting Class

Julianna and I joined a weekly mommy and me parenting class at the pasadena college. Its a lot of fun for both of us and we get to bond. The topics are interesting and we get to see what other kids her age are doing.

Isaac's bday party

This is my first time inserting a video into my blog, lets hope it works. We spent our Saturday at Isaac's 5th bday party. Sofia came with us and also spent the night. Both her and Tamara were on their best behavior this weekend. They got along, they never fought, plus they fell asleep in the car on the way home and went straight to bed. It couldn't have gone any better.

Labor Day Fun!

Today we spent a nice afternoon outside on the deck with the Alva's and my parents. Robert made his delicious BBQ ribs and we accompanied them with some scrumptious side dishes and some beer. Yum yum! What a nice way to celebrate labor day.

After having her first meal with a spoon, Julianna had lots of brain power to focus on her toys.
