Congratulations April!

We celebrated April's High School graduation today. We are so proud of her. It's amazing that she has grown up from this cute little girl to this beautiful young lady. I look forward to seeing her accomplish many more things in life. Congratulations April!!!

COH Pediatric Picnic

Today was our City of Hope Pediatric Picnic and as usual we all had a great time. I was in charge of the snack area and brought in my family and close friends to volunteer. They all worked hard and did an amazing job. Thank you all for all your hard work and for taking time out of your day to come hang out with us and make this day possible for our kids. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves!

Field Trip

Julianna and I went on a field trip with her class today to Descanso Gardens. That place is just beautiful. I think I am getting a pass and going more often. Everytime I go, I feel so relaxed. The flowers are amazing, the variety of trees are so awesome, the ponds are majestic and it makes you feel like so at peace. Julianna enjoyed herself so much. She really enjoyed feeling all the flowers, touching the leaves, exploring the bridges and watching the ducks, fish, turtles and geese. Great morning.

These next few weeks will be bitter-sweet for Tamara and for us as she graduates from Pre-school (technically, pre-kindergarten). Tamara has been in pre-school since she was 2 years old (3 years) and will now move on to Kindergarten. Sadly, none of her friends (that she has be so close with for the entire year) will be going with her to her new school. For those of you who know Tamara, you know that she is very particular about who she choses as friends and once you are her friend (which is hard to do) she holds on to you. It took her several months to select her friends this year but once she had them, she kept them the entire year and nobody else was allowed in to her circle. Kindergarten will be a huge adjustment for her and she will have to start again and create a new circle of friends. School ends next week on Friday so she has asked me to take pictures with her and her buddies. So far, I have just taken pictures with 2 of her friends Esther and Sophia. I still have Natalie and Rani to do. Stay tuned for those pics in the near future.
