Julianna's mommy and me class

Julianna has attended a mommy and me class since she was 8 weeks old. Today I decided to include Tamara in her class. Tamara also took this class when she was a baby but it seems that she enjoyed it more now than she did then.


We are singing songs to the babies as they lie on their backs.

Tamara's obsession

Robert bought Tamara a gift today because she behaved so well. Tamara was SO happy when she saw what it was. She has had an obsession with Scooby Doo for almost a year now and now gets to dress like him.

Lunch with Aunt Mary and Uncle Al

Almost immediately after our breakfast. We headed on over to Orange County to spend some time with Uncle Al and Aunt Mary. It's always fun to see them. They are so cute. We spent some time visiting and then went out to lunch. After a few hours, we came home for some final relax time and some final chit chat with our guests Greg and Ginger. Unfortunately, they were leaving the next day so we wanted to spend some quality time with them before they left for San Antonio.

Starting it off right

Despite the busy weekend, we woke up early on Sunday morning and went to church. Tamara had spent the night at her Abue and Grandpa's house so it was easy to get up, get ready and get out of the house. Julianna is starting off her religious education the right way. Her Godparents will be proud! After church, we went to breakfast with the Rongas. Take a look at our georgeous girls.

4th of July

We got the fireworks out of the way on July 3rd and saw them at the Altadena Country Club. Tamara cried the entire time since she was so scared. She covered herself with her blanket and wouldn't even look up. Oh well, maybe next year. So on the 4th, we had a family BBQ and enjoyed some good food at home.

Our 4th of July visitors.

We started off the 4th of July weekend with a visit from our San Antonio cousins Greg and Ginger. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and spent the day at the beach in Malibu. What a great time.

Homework

In addition to the fun extracurricular activities, Tamara also spends part of her day doing homework. The work varies from crafts, coloring, working on her letters/numbers, rhymes, music or anything else we find educational. Today we worked on numbers. As you can see, she needs a little help with her 6's.
